I have 30 plus years industry experience in various roles and joined FarmWeb in 2003

I am a one time village cricketer and have 'played' in South Africa, Sri Lanka and Kenya. I'm now only a spectator. My interests include most sports.

My attempted restoration of a 1969 TVR Tuscan is at last in the hands of a specialist to complete - only another few months before I can drive it.

I enjoy Northern Soul music - it's an age thing! I dislike bureaucracy and not being able to say the things I once could say!  But it doesn't normally stop me!

I've worked within the commercial insurance industry now since 1998 including stints at General Accident, Ecclesiastical and Fortis. I was part of the original Underwriting team at NIG when NIG was awarded the FarmWeb rollover contract.

I left to join Arista as a new start up in an operations management role but have returned to my farming insurance background. 

I enjoy early morning spinning classes as it sets me up for the day but I dread Friday morning weigh-ins when the sins of the week are revealed!

I have now been in the Insurance industry for over 30 years, most of which have been in Sales Development & Underwriting roles. I spent 16 years focussing on agriculture at Rural Insurance.

Bradford Pennine were my first employers as a  motor underwriter. I've also "seen the other side" and have worked as a claims handler for the Dominion Insurance and even done some broking in Edinburgh

I joined FarmWeb in August 2011 to help develop and look after existing relationships in the North of England & Scotland.

I have a passion for live music with a varied taste - From Heavy Metal to old school Punk and I support Heart of Midlothian FC.

I enjoy travelling the country meeting all sorts of different people, although age makes it harder to remember who they are!  Early morning starts are getting more and more difficult!

Allegedly, my Mullet negates the need for me to use business cards.

I have been in the insurance industry for over 30 years.   Since 2004 I have worked for FarmWeb progressing from Personal Assistant to Office Manager.  Prior to that I was at Ecclesiastical Insurance for over 27 years. I enjoy challenges and I am at my best while working under pressure, ensuring the office runs smoothly on a day to day basis from fixing Sonya's laptop to paying the tax man on time!

I enjoy travelling from Las Vegas to Thailand, DIY, gardening and keeping fit.

I enjoy spending free time with my friends and family from eating out to going to the theatre, browsing the internet (especially ebay) and listening to music from Rihanna to Kings of Leon

My biggest dislike is untidyness and people using their mobiles whilst driving

You may not know this but I hold a full motorcycle licence and rode a motorcycle to work for over 7 years even during the heavy snowfall of the early 80s (for those that can remember it)!
